PDAS FOUNDATION EMPOWERS THE YOUTH

PDAS Foundation in a known NGO in Ijebu Igbo and environs for creating an enabling environment for the vulnerable groups through education grants, health supports and skills acquisition.

One of the scheme of the foundation is YOUTH AND WOMEN EMPOWERMENT. The organisation enrolled some public secondary school students in vocational training such as Tailoring, Hairdressing and Shoe/Bag Making. Out of the twenty-four students in the training, seven (7) of them have successfully completed their training. The foundation organises a graduation ceremony for the graduates.

The foundation also empowered all the Graduants with working tools. The tools include sets of Sewing Machines, Whipping Machines, Grinding Machine, Head and Hand Dryers, Foot Massage Machine, Pressing Irons, Scissors and sets of Generators.

The tools were presented to the Graduants by the CEO, Princess Adekemi Sijuade as witnessed by dignitaries from within and outside Ijebu Igbo, State Commissioner, Members of Rotary Club, Ijebu Igbo Metropolitan, Royal fathers, members of Market Traditional Council, members of Artisans Association of Nigeria, Ijebu North Chapter and many more.

The maiden event received commendations and recommendations from the Guests and general public.
